I. In the Dawn of Time
Once the ice ages receded and the 1st human teams roamed the humid valleys in the Cantabrian Sea, the lands we now simply call Euskal Herria ended up by now a refuge. While in the caves of Santimamiñe, Ekain, Isturitz, and Aitzbitarte, anonymous arms still left bison, horses, and symbols that still appear to resonate right now.

• While in the Northern Basque Nation (Iparralde), the Duchy of Vasconia stretched within the Garonne River on the Pyrenees.

The Vikings attacked the coast; the Franks tried to regulate the Pyrenean passes; the Visigoths and afterwards the Muslims clashed within the Ebro frontier.
But the Basque communities survived, adapting devoid of dropping their id.
IV. The Kingdom of Pamplona / Kingdom of Navarre
